Church Development Team
(Formerly Capital Campaign)
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVES CHURCH EXPANSION!
-
The Planned
Development for the church was submitted to the Vacaville Planning
Commission at their April 1, 2008 meeting, and the vote of commissioners
was unanimous for approval. Many of you turned out for this meeting,
and it paid off. One of the commissioners is quoted as saying, " It
definitely shows your commitment to the project". This approval is good
news because now, after literally years of planning, negotiating and
praying, we can go forward with our dream of Expanding programs,
Enlarging the facility to accommodate our needs and Enriching the Sunday
worship experience. And On We Go!
-
The newly formed
Church Development Team (formerly Capital Campaign Team) is hard at work
finding creative ways to raise some of the money to fund the building
project. This money will be added to the Pledges so many of you have
been faithfully honoring since our Capital Campaign began in April 2006.
It's so rewarding to know you are totally committed to the vision of the
church. Pledge cards are available in the office for those who have not
yet pledged and wish to do so.

Sacramento Community Ctr Broadway Series

There is
something miraculous about Music Circus! No barrier separates you
from the story as it unfolds. The music surrounds you. The dancing
is more energetic and the romance more intimate. When it is
dramatic, your heart soars; and when it is funny, the laughter never
seems to stop. Musical theatre itself is special, but Music Circus
is unforgettable. A one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime experience
every time you go.

The Sacramento Community
Center Theater, at 1301 L Street, is the home of California Musical

Broadway Sacramento is the
best known user of the city-owned theatre, which is also home of
other non-profit arts groups as the Sacramento Ballet, the
